‘College Lacrosse 2010′ Gets Support on XBLIG

collegelax10Well, it happened! When Carlo Sunseri embarked on a quest to create an indie title that was based on the sport of Lacrosse, he perhaps imagined it would interest outside parties. Lo and behold, Inside Lacrosse–the premiere media outlet for the sport of Lacrosse–has become the exclusive media partner of College Lacrosse 2010.

In fact, the game’s popularity has soared since it originally established its Facebook fan page. Earning over 55,000 fans over the last few months, the game’s popularity had not ended there. It has become the 5th best rated title on the Indie Channel.

No, that’s not a joke and no, EA isn’t working on it. But believe it or not, College Lacrosse 2010 (aren’t they lucky it’s not patented?) has been submitted for Peer Review on XBOX Live Indie Games. Triple B Games and Carlo Sunseri LLC will be releasing the game on Live for 10 dollars (800 Microsoft points).

College Lacrosse 2010 has even garnered attention on Facebook, boasting over 48,000 fans! Now in the final stage of the release process, Sunseri–a lacrosse coach in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania–thanks Triple B and Microsoft for turning an idea into reality.

If you want some more information on the game or wish to show support, here’s their Facebook page.
