In the game you use a grappling hook to overcome various challenges and obstacles by performing incredible moves and fast combinations to pull off otherwise impossible tricks. The game features 31 levels, 30 achievements and 248 challenges.
An editor is also included, allowing players to create their own levels. Grappling Hook is available now for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.
Grappling Hook‘s 1.07 update is now available for Windows and Mac users. Here is a rundown of what’s been revamped for this version:
- Storyline extended with a lot more messages throughout all levels.
- One more level in the storymode.
- Improved the guiding in many levels.
- Console-output will be saved in a log-file.
- Fixed a small glitch with the record-messages.
- Fixed a glitch, when a player switched to the menu at the end of a level.
- Users can save/load their levels on every platform even without administrator rights.
- The game will display levels that are inside the user-folder.
- Ingame-news will be loaded only once at startup to improve menu-performance.

Good news for Mac users as Speed Run Games has announced via press release their first-person action puzzle game Grappling Hook is now available for the alternate computer platform. A Linux version is promised to be on the way as well.
Additionally, the dev has announced the release of eight new levels for both PC and Mac sometime within the next two weeks. Marking the game’s first DLC update.

Speed Run Games has released the latest patch for Grappling Hook, updating the action platformer to v1.05 and adding Twitter-integration to the game. Other changes include fixes to the Hook Devise, an edge of the map bug and memory leaks as well as improvements to the performance in the menu and the GUI of the launcher.
Additionally, The demo for Grappling Hook has received the update and is now available for download. The game itself can be purchased and downloaded as well.

Patched to v1.03, the updated version brings fixes and improvements including hot-key features, a bloom-shader fix and support for other languages as well as a handful of bug fixes.
