8bitMMO

There’s no better home than an 8-bit one which is why you should be, if you aren’t already, setting up camp in 8bitMMO. The game has just been expanded greatly so there’s no better time to join in and fight the evil Lawyercats!

Archive Entertainment have come under a barrage of player and press interest in the last couple of months as can be seen in the recent screenshot of the world at the top of this post – for a comparison head over here. If you didn’t know, 8bitMMO is a free sandbox construction multiplayer game and it seems it has become very popular despite still being very much under construction itself.

Of course, with the game still being built the developers are adding many features, some of which are player requested like the new player trading abilities – not much to say there really, you can swap items with your fellow residents. The more significant update from the developer is that 8bitMMO is now available to play on Kongregate which adds High Score tables, one click login and makes it a lot easier for Archive to support the game in the future.

The last month has also seen the Quest Reminder Window added to the game so that new players can settle in and get off to a better start. Oh and you can also choose the color of your avatar now, with non-human colors coming very shortly.
