Super Giant has received loads of praise at GDC, both PAXes, and most recently E3, so the innovation sounds appreciated. Take a look at what has everyone talking:

Here’s a list of all the XBLA Summer of Arcade games, their release dates, and their price points:

• July 20 Bastion (1200 MS Points)
• July 27 From Dust (1200 MS Points)
• August 3 Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet (1200 MS Points)
• August 10 Fruit Ninja Kinect (800 MS Points)
• August 17 Toy Soldiers: Cold War (1200 MS Points)

From Dust (Ubisoft’s almost-indie title) and FuelCell/Gagne International’s Insanely Twisted are of particular interest. The latter is a 2D action-adventure game: think Metroid gameplay if Samus stayed in her damn ship. It looks and plays amazingly. This trailer should help seal the deal:

Finally, if you buy all XBLA Summer titles, you can get an awesome dungeon crawler from independent studio Certain Affinity for free. Crimson Alliance supports up to 4 players in co-op locally or over Xbox LIVE and releases September 7. Seeing as how it’s almost the weekend, let’s make this easy for everyone and post another trailer!

In short, XBLA has some sweet gems headed our way this summer, even if the indie titles seem to all veer towards a collective action/adventure experience. What XBLA titles are you looking forward to?

Reading the comments on the developer’s blog, it’s clear that many of the people following the game are dissapointed with that announcement. But developer Gagne said in the comments that “No one here is saying that there won’t be a PC version.” So that’s good news for anyone without an Xbox 360.

Still, there’s little information aside from the platform announcement, so we’ll have to wait for details like a release date or price. But stick around and we’ll keep you updated.
