Junk Jack was a game that we were very impressed with when it became available for Apple’s line of iOS systems due to its Terraria-like sidescrolling gameplay and Minecraft aesthetics. Now, according to a recent blog post by PixBits (the developers) is looks like we might be seeing Junk Jack on the big screen at some point in the future.

A few days ago I wrote about a brand new Terraria-like for Apple’s IOS platform. It was called Junk Jack and it seemed to offer a polished package in the side scrolling exploring/building/mining genre. Curious about the game I decided to email the developers to find out more about it.

Well it happens to all the great indie games, eventually, somebody is going to attempt to duplicate your success by porting the basic idea to another platform. Really it should be seen as a form of flattery more so than anything else. The latest game to receive such high praise is Terraria, the 2D platformer that borrowed some crafting and building elements from Minecraft.
