Super Smash Land is the love note of one Dan Fornace, who has gone beyond simply remaking Super Smash Bros. The Game Boy “demade” title features multiple modes and a character fans almost always ask for in any major crossover game: Mega Man.

Dan tells PixiGeek about his research on Mega Man, which he thinks is also his biggest addition. “I played through the first three NES games, gathering up and testing all the powers to create a moveset that I hope appeals to his old fans.” The developer also added an important mechanic, called crouch cancelling. “Crouch cancelling makes it so you can duck right before getting hit to reduce knock back time and angle”

Super Smash Land is indeed a sight and sound to behold. Check it out in the trailer below:
