Frozenbyte’s unique co-op puzzle platformer Trine has been offered up by Impulse for 50% off through this weekend. This brings the price down to a very agreeable $10.

Though the game doesn’t release until next Tuesday, Nimblebit’s indie kart racer Zero Gear has released an update that can be downloaded by those who pre-ordered and have access to the beta.
If you’re unaware, those who buy the game before its release on January 12 get a 25% discount off the total price along with early access to the vehicle combat racing game. If you do have the beta set-up on Steam the update will begin when you restart the client. Full change log after the break.
Sakari Indie has announced that its cartoon-style third-person shooter Foreign Legion: Buckets of Blood has been given the Steamworks treatment, adding 18 new achievements to the title.
In the title you assume the role of a last-standing Legionnaire taking on an entire rebel army. Toting a small campaign with various objectives, such as defending civilians, escorting a tourist bus and a ‘mass-chicken-murder’ map. The game also includes a ranking system that allows you to unlock new outfits, accessories and of course new weapons.

Nimbly Games’ aerial combat title Altitude has landed on Steam, and what’s better $5 cheaper than expected, at least for a limited time. The action indie is getting a 33% discount from its originally announced price of $15 through December 11 via the digital distribution leader.
The multiplayer heavy game boasts several modes that bring what the developer describes as a deep and rewarding experience hidden in an old-school arcade game. Just looking at it reminds me of Rocket Riot, which certainly lived up to its name. The games may or may not have similar gameplay, but certainly RR brought that deep multiplayer experience Nimbly Games claims Altitude provides.
Altitude is available on Steam now for slightly under $10.
Today’s Midweek Madness sale on Steam has been revealed as ACE Team’s original action brawler Zeno Clash has been slashed by 66% off the standard price. Set in a punk fantasy world, Clash presents itself to be a first-person fighter emphasizing brutal combat in close quarters.
The game saw a full release back in April of this year and has already received plenty of recognition boasting itself as an IGF Finalist and winning the ModDB Editor’s Choice Award for Best Upcoming Indie Game in 2008. The dev has announced that an ultimate edition of the game will see an Xbox Live Arcade release in March 2010 as well.

The gameplay really takes the Diablo style to another level, and with the title you get the TorchED editor which lets you customize practically everything you see. It’s a real great game, well worth the standard $20–let alone only $15.
