Magnetis Now Available on WiiWare

MagnetisA couple weeks ago we wrote to inform you that Magnetis, a unique puzzler by Yullaby, had been released to Valve’s own Steam digital distribution store for the ripe ol’ price of $5. Today, we continue with that same announcement, only in WiiWare flavor. Yullaby has announced this week that Magnetis is now available on the North American WiiWare store.

For those who don’t remember, or who don’t feel like clicking back to our old article, Magentis is co-op and competitive puzzler where players must match magnets and attractions in order to cause huge chain reactions and score massive points. A co-op/competitive puzzler is actually kind of rare — rarer than the single player variety anyways — so this one might be worth taking a gander at if your interested.

The game is available for 500 Wii points.

Magnetis Gets Steam Release

Magnetis_Steam_Release []Developer Yullaby has announced the release of its casual puzzler Magnetis on Steam. The title offers up four person co-op and competitive gameplay where players connect magnets with matching attractions to cause electric explosions, resulting in massive chain reactions and higher multipliers.

Packing three solo modes and three multiplayer modes (Battle, Teamplay and Co-op) and boasting an old school 8bit-esque soundtrack, the frantic puzzler tests you to think quick and plan ahead, anticipating the connections that will result in the most points.

The game’s joining of Valve’s digital distribution hub marks the official US release following a PC and WiiWare release in the UK. Magnetis is available now for that smooth indie price of $5.
