Terry Cavanagh’s Newest Game, ChatChat, Turns You Into a Cat

Terry Cavanagh always has the best ideas when it comes to micro indie games. VVVVVV was damn near perfect in its simplicity. His newest game, ChatChat, isn’t ripe with puzzles nor is it trying to be anything more than it is right now: a game where you are a cat. Oh and did I mention that it was a pseudo-MMO for your browser? Because it is…

I’m still trying to figure out what the point of the game is, or even if there is a point, but what I’ve seen so far is a game that is really just about exploring the area, catching mice, and doing other cat-like things… like meowing.

I guess this is pretty much summed up in the games description and instructions:

Description
A multiplayer game about being a cat

Instructions
Be a cat

There doesn’t seem to be any real purpose here (no enemies, no bosses, no fighting) so if that sounds like your saucer of milk and cream then ChatChat is just for you!

Oh and if you’re a dog person… move along, nothing for you to see here.
