BeerDeer Games, a small indie studio based out of Prague, has sent us word about their upcoming Android, iOS and browser action RPG Nyrthos a game that seemingly takes after the likes of Diablo 2 and other such Action RPGs. What’s different, however, is that this game resides on the various mobile platforms as opposed to your PC, along with your browser.

I don’t know too much about the game just yet and no trailer is available, but here’s the story according to the developers:

The land of Nyrthos is being slowly consumed by an unknown darkness. The council of Elder Mages embarked to investigate the Eastern border, but has not been heard from ever since. 23 Days ago, the Pillars of Fire have been ignited. The whole continent prepares for war, a war that was fortold by the ancestors. Yet no one knows the reason for it or the enemy they will stand against.

Seems interesting enough. And here’s the feature list:

• Beautifully crafted 2D visuals
• Story, survival and arena modes
• Deep connection between players and developers
• The world unravels based on lpayer actions
• Original world and setting

And that’s pretty much all we know about it so far. There’s no trailer yet made of the game so we can’t actually see it in action. All we have are these screenshots which are certainly nothing to scoff at as they show some seriously beautiful graphics. Very detailed.

The game seems to be in closed beta right now and you can sign up to join if you want. Otherwise, we’ll update you when we get more information.
