Ludum Dare 22 has come and gone and what we are left with is a few hundred games to pour over and judge. Well, that was the case up until Monday when the Ludum Dare guys went ahead and announced the top games for the competition. Surprisingly, Notch’s own entry Minicraft did not make the top 50. I wonder if that was purposefully done…

In any case, here were the top 10 games:

• Frostbite
• Abandoned
• Last breath
• Final Trip Soccer
• Stray Whisker
• Split Party
• The Last Geek
• Locked Away
• Craequ
• Soliloquy

My personal favorite was Final Trip Soccer, a game that, deceivingly at first, appears to go against the “Alone” theme of this Ludum Dare compo, but turns out to be quite unique and fun in the end. I might just have to give it a “Browser Game Pick” soon.
