Ludosity Releases New Trailer for Zelda-like Ittle Dew

It seems like Ludosity has been cranking away for forever on their newest game Ittle Dew, a delightful looking Zelda-like that will be released piecemeal, episode by episode. The game was originally announced back in February of 2011 and, since then, all we’ve seen are a few trailers. Great looking trailers, mind you, but trailers nonetheless.

This latest trailer shows off more of what we can expect with Ittle Dew and, more and more, it seems to be a worthy rendition of the popular Zelda series. This means, obviously a to0-down perspective with plenty of puzzles and dungeons to explore/conquer.

This trailer shows off a bunch of new items as well including an ice wand and an item that seems to make a green blob/portal of some sort. Not quite sure o the base mechanics of that one, but it sure looks fun!

The idea around Ittle Dew is each episode is based around a new island with a new story arch. In a sense, this should allow for an unlimited amount of Ittle Dew episodes should Ludosity continue to develop them. After watching the gameplay trailer a few times, I’m thinking that this is a very good thing.

Anyway, still no release date after the game missed its original Christmas 2011 window. So we’ll just have to wait and see.
