One of my very favorite Metroidvanias is going to be getting a breath of fresh air soon on the PC. I am, of course, talking about Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet which I reviewed when it became available last year and quite enjoyed. Unfortunately, it didn’t end up doing as well as I would have thought on XBLA, which is why a PC version is so exciting!

But how do we know it’s coming out on PC? Easy! Three different sources have basically confirmed it:

1. It was rated by the ESRB as being available on PC (probably Steam)

2. When asked about it on Twitter, the official Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet Twitter responded with: “Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet likely PC bound – hmmmmmm…. ”

3. An anonymous source has told me it’s happening.

So there you have it. Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet on PC, probably Steam.

Hopefully this move from Xbox to PC will be just as beneficial for Fuelcell as it has been for many other small development studios in the past who originally released exclusively to a console.
