Not to be left in Steam’s dust, Microsoft is launching their own holiday sale. It’s not as ambitious, but for Xbox 360 gamers, it’s just about all your going to get. Not to say that it’s bad either, in fact today’s game, Bastion, is available right now for 50% off it’s original price. That’s quite the steal if you’re into action RPGs.

Each day there will be a new deal so keep watch either on Major Nelson’s Twitter account or the Xbox holiday sale landing page (link below).

In addition to the daily deals Microsoft is also running a number of other sales that will run all the way through January 2nd. Some notable indies include Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet (50% off) and, I don’t know, Renegade Ops (50% off) maybe? That’s about it for indie gamers. There’s a bunch of other non-indie stuff as well though so if you’re looking for something to download on your Xbox 360 this weekend here’s your chance.

Personally, I highly recommend Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet as I enjoyed it very much.
