Ludum Dare 22, the 48 hour indie game competition that has already bee the development ground for Notch’s entry Minicraft, has officially concluded and, as shocking as it may seem, a grand total of 891 games were created for it. That’s a hugely impressive number!

If you’re interested in seeing what’s been created simply head on past the link below. The theme for this Ludum Dare competition was “Alone” so expect that sort of vibe while you’re crawling through the games.

Over the next three weeks the games will be rated and on January 10th the results will be shown.

Also of note Ludum Dare 23 has been announced for April 2012! The organizers are hoping to break 1000 entries next year.
