Earlier this year I wrote about Oozi: Earth Adventure, a gorgeous Xbox Live Indie Game platformer that brought not only shiny, modern graphics but some really great platforming mechanics. Seriously, it is still probably one of the best platformers on XBLIG, if you’re interested in that sort of thing (I am!).

Anyway, for those of you who did play and enjoy the original you should be excited to find out the Episode 2 of Oozi’s adventure is right around the corner!

Episode 2 continues Oozi’s adventure on Earth and offers some new features including some new special abilities:

Oozi: Earth Adventure Episode 2 is an old school platformer with modern gameplay elements, HD visuals and beautiful, hand-drawn art. It focuses on three key special abilities – double jump, stomp and wall jump – that are used by player on his way through four unique worlds. The game includes high variety of enemies and gameplay mechanisms, and is aimed both at casual gamers and hardcore gamers

The trailer below should seal the deal for anybody on edge.

Oozi: Earth Adventure Episode 2 is set to launch this Friday, November 25th for a scant 80 MS Points ($1). If you’re looking for something to play this weekend, Oozi offers a cheap alternative.
