After initially releasing as a PC/Mac game, then making its way to iOS last year, The Graveyard has just received an android release too. Head over to the android market to grab either the free trail version, or the paid version for £1.24 + VAT.
The Graveyard is a strange one. It’s a brief, narrative focussed videogame, telling the story of an old woman visiting a graveyard. The developers, Tale of Tales, pitch it as “An experiment with realtime poetry, with storytelling without words.”
The android version looks great on my phone, and whilst it’s hardly the type of thing I can see myself having a quick burst of on the bus, it’s another string to the bow of the android gaming arsenal.
Here’s the list of confirmed compatible devices: HTC Evo 4G, HTC Desire, HTC Desire HD, HTC Incredible 2, HTC Desire Z, HTC Inspire 4G, Google Nexus S, Nexus S, Nexus One, Samsung Galaxy S, MyTouch 4g, Motorola Defy, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7” GT-P1000, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1″ GT-P7510, Asus eee Pad Transformer. Works fine on my Xperia Play too, albeit only with touchscreen controls.
I wonder if any other their other games are android bound? Perhaps Vanitas?
