It’s been over a year since that loveable cube of meat invaded our lives, and what better way to celebrate a year of meat than a sale on Steam, featuring Super Meat Boy and all of his friends. Here’s what’s included in this weekend’s meaty sale:
Aquaria,
BIT.TRIP BEAT,
BIT.TRIP RUNNER,
Braid,
Gish,
Half-Life 2,
Machinarium,
Super Meat Boy,
VVVVVV,
World of Goo.
Grab it here. Offer ends on Monday the 21st.
The entire bundle will set you back $24.99/€22.59/£17.89, and all of the games are reduced by 50% individually, except for Half-Life 2 for some reason. You’ll also get the soundtracks for: Super Meat Boy, Braid, Machinarium, BIT.TRIP BEAT & BIT.TRIP RUNNER.
Almost all of the games are PC and/or Mac, via Steamplay, except for Aquaria & Super Meat Boy. Super Meat Boy is due to be getting a Mac version at some point, and Aquaria for Mac is available via Ambrosia Software.
All fabulous games, and a brilliant reminder that Super Meat Boy wasn’t just a phenomenally excellent platformer, it was a celebration of all sorts indie games. If you are new to indie gaming, or haven’t yet played these games, this is a brilliant bundle of some of the best games from the last few years. A steal at that price.
