A brand new budget priced arcade shooter is now out for the PC. SteroidS is the first release from El Salvador based indie studio The Domaginarium, and it’s all about shooting baddies: Something we can all relate to.

In SteroidS you play a scientist, who uses the power of science to shoot baddies with a “Steroids gun”. Each time you shoot a baddie, the dose of steroids speed them up, so that’s something to be careful of.

It’s running in the unreal engine, and although elements of the presentation seem a bit amateurish, there’s also some nice effects going on, and nice details like the paintings on the walls. The devs promise that the game has “A dark sense of humor, from the level and enemy designs to everything else”, which you can see hints of in this here launch trailer:
