Ignite Demo Released Via Steam

Nemesys Games, the Hungarian outfit responsible for the likes of Fortix 2 and Air Traffic Controller, released their shiny car racing game onto Steam last month, and for those curious enough to try it out, they’ve just today uploaded a demo of it too. Grab the demo yourself from Steam right here.

Whilst that’s downloading why not sit back and take a look at this trailer so you can see what you’re getting yourself in for:

At first glance it’s largely indistinguishable from any of the similar racing games that the major publishers seem to put out every year. It’s good to see the little guy catching up with the big boys, at least in terms of visual spit and polish.

Here’s the blurb from Nemesys:

Ignite is an edge-of-your-seat racer, which pits you against your opponents in a unique way. Players must collect points while racing, by performing maneuvers, stunts and destruction to add to their overall score. Once past 1000 points, players can burn away their score to get ahead or save it for a time bonus at the end of the race. Ignite sports 3 racing modes, 35 circuits to run, and a multitude of cars and configurations to speed through 7 different locations in single player or with up to 5 friends, via multiplayer.
