Twelve titles for this year’s Eurogamer Expo have been selected for the consumer event taking place September 22-25. The Indie Games Arcade is brought to everyone by Sega and Rock Paper Shotgun. These twelve were chosen from over 100 submissions. Some of them DIY has covered before, while others have just decided to come out and play.
Hopefully some updated gameplay will surface at the end of September with the games that are not already released. Fingers crossed! By the way, Saturday’s tickets are completely sold out, but other days are still available. At 10 Euro a day, that’s a pretty good admission price for all the games your brain can eat.
- At a Distance – Terry Cavanagh (after the 1:00 mark): A co-op first-person puzzle platformer WTF game.
- Blocks That Matter – Swing Swing Submarine: A platformer where players manipulate matter to solve puzzles.
- Fotonica – Santa Ragione: A one-button first-person free-running game
- Molecat Twist – iwait4 Developers: Charming graphics and character design in an “Indirect control tile-twisting puzzled adventure …with traps!”
- Pineapple Smash Crew – RichMakeGame: A squad-based exploration arena shooter with crunchy (in a good way) chiptunes.
- Really Big Sky – Boss Baddie: A visually stunning “pew pew” horizontal shmup
