Edmund McMillen’s Zelda-like, The Binding of Isaac Dated and Priced

Good news for those of you who were fans of Edmund McMillen’s (of Super Meat Boy fame) art style and general quirkiness. His next game, the Binding of Isaac, is set to hit Steam on September 28th for a scant $5. That’s right, you can get all the quirky awkward Zelda-likeness for little more than you’d pay for a meal at Taco Bell.

Also, in keeping with traditions, Edmund is releasing via Etsy an adorable plush based on the main character. Those of you who followed Super Meat Boy will remember a similar “Meat Plush” being released along with that game. I believe, given it being sold on Etsy, that this plush is hand made.

Also of additional note, the game will be made available for both the PC (no surprise) and Mac OSX (surprise!) so that should definitely keep some gamers happy. No mention of Linux version was made, but then Steam doesn’t support Linux so that should come as no surprise.
