Arcade Action RPG Wanderlust: Rebirth Available Now

Wanderlust: Rebirth is an online, fantasy, 4 player party-based arcade-action RPG game developed with Game Maker. Players can choose between a fighter, alchemist, cleric, or elementalist; each has its own staple abilities and weaknesses. The in-game battling looks insanely messy and fun, with vibrantly colorful backgrounds covered with retro sprite flare. I imagine Wanderlust: Rebirth as an overhead contender of Capcom’s D&D arcade games, and I look forward to enjoying it with the same intensity.

The game began development in 2006 with Matthew Griffin and Jason Gordy. “We are big fans of the RPG genre and co-op gaming, so we wanted to meld the two genres together. We genuinely feel that we’ve crafted a great fusion of the two genres in Wanderlust: Rebirth!” says Jason Gordy.

If that trailer didn’t sell you on Wanderlust, check out the earlier coverage DIY provided in November 2010. The trailer above seems to be an evolution of the one from half a year ago. I know at least two DIYGamers are interested in the game now. Am I right, Geoff?

Wanderlust: Rebirth is available for $10.00 individually or in other stacked deals. The ideal purchase is $30.00 for four copies; in this way, players can hand-pick their four-player team. Team Wanderlust has released a 17MB free demo to help make the purchasing decision easier.

What do you all think of Wanderlust: Rebirth? Would you like DIYGamer to take it for a spin and provide you the autopsy report?
