Great news for any modders out there who happen to have a taste for outrageously designed levels and monsters as Croteam, the developers behind the infamous Serious Sam games have released a beta version of their Serious Editor 3 Beta Level Creation Tool via Steam.

From the press release:

Hordes of Serious Sam fans and would-be level designers around the world can now have a hand in the creation of Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter’s chaotic battlefields with the release of Serious Editor 3 Beta through a free update on Steam. Serious Sam fans can use the powerful Serious Editor 3 Beta to build single player, co-op and multiplayer maps for Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter and share them with other PC gamers around the globe. Aspiring game designers can also create their own objects and structures for placement in their custom environments to give each creation their own signature mark.

The good news is that, if you do decide to make your own multiplayer level, should Croteam like it and feel it’s worthy they’ll include your level in Serious Sam 3 upon its release next year.
