With a penchant for dark and odd games, the strangeness of Tale of Tales’ release of Vanitas on the iPhone/iPod Touch has yet to be matched up by many other iOS titles. Though not as well received as they would hope, Vanitas is far different from other offerings on the App Store. The memento mori that is Vanitas has received a new — but relatively minor — update available for free on iTunes.

Here’s a full list of the updates in version 1.1:

- Graphical enhancements.

- Improved typography.

- Made the cards smaller to make them easier to turn over.

- More Light! Now the box is a bit brighter.
