Eschalon Book II Hits Steam, 10% Off for Launch Week

Eschalon_Book_II_Steam_ReleaseBasilisk Games’ well received open-world RPG Eschalon Book II has launched on Valve’s digital distribution giant Steam for both PC and Mac. Even better, the title has been given a “launch discount” (though not truly its launch) of 10%, or $2.50 off the $25 tag.

The sequel to the award-winning 2007 RPG, Eschalon Book II is set after the province of Thaermore has fallen and threats of full-on war are beginning to boil over. You won’t need to play the first game to understand and enjoy the second of the role-playing trilogy. If you’d like; however, you can purchase ($20) or demo the original Eschalon here.

The slight discount offer ends Monday, July 19. While a Steam demo hasn’t been made available for Book II, the original demo released by the dev can be downloaded via the game’s official site; Linux users can pick up the game there as well.
