World of Goo vs. Iji [Tournament]

WorldofGoovsIji

Another day, another tournament contest! Don’t you just love these things?

Anyways, before we begin, we have another quick update  (these will be regular from now on). It would appear that Knytt Stories has soundly defeated Altitude in the round of 32, successfully making it to the next round where it will next face off against Shattered Horizon. Exciting!

Anyway, back to today’s match up:

In one corner we have one of the most critically acclaimed indie titles to have ever been released, by one of the most outspoken indie developers, 2d Boy. I am, of course, talking about the incredibly charming and challenging World of Goo, where your mission is to get adorable goo-blobs to the vacuum sucker goal.

In the other corner, however, is Iji, a smaller indie title, but one not without it’s own incredibly ravenous fanbase. In Iji you play as a a nanotechnology infused superhuman who is trying to rescue your friends and family from a mysterious invasion force. The game features multiple paths, a large arsenal of weapnry, and even some unique story elements.

It certainly is an interesting match up. Vote now!
