UPDATE: Having tried the 4 levels of the demo, I can easily say this is one of the most addictive match-3 puzzlers I’ve ever played. I highly recommend it.

OggaSoft’s newest title — Cube Monsters — looks very interesting, to say the least. The developers don’t go much farther than informing us that the game has “monsters in it. Oh yes, and cubes too.” The reason why they don’t give you too much information probably has to do with the fact that the team is already offering a free demo. Even better, the game has been down-scaled from its full price of $3.99 to only $0.99 for a limited time.

The other limited bit of information from the website suggests that play-testers and gamers have referred to Cube Monsters as similar to “Zuma, Bejeweled, or Tetris” indicating that there may be similarities to the puzzle and match-3 genres. But instead of sheer speculation, how’s about we give the game a try right here? And if you like it, then I’m going to go ahead and highly suggest you purchase it for a dollar and support OggaSoft Studios.
