Zombie Driver Now 50% Less With 50% More Content

Screenshot_20100412_01Oh boy do we have a deal for you guys. Forget whatever you were attempting to convince yourself to buy this week, EXOR Studios has announced an amazing deal for their zombie-driving-smash-em-up. Something they like to call the 50/50 deal.

Presumably starting this week — it’s not showing up in Steam just yet, but is showing up in GamersGate — you’ll be able to buy Zombie Driver for a mere $5. What’s more though is that this isn’t some simple one-off deal, the developers are also including some special DLC that will increase your gameplay, by a “supposed” 50%. Here’s the breakdown:

1. New area-based gameplay where you have to survive for as long as possible.
2. Five hand-crafted new arenas.
3. Online leaderboards/achievements on Steam.
4. Twitter/Facebook integration.

Doesn’t really sound like 50% more gameplay to me, but it’s free nonetheless. And just for your information, gamers who have already bought this game — if you fall into that category –  will be able to get this DLC for free as well. No charge!

So what say you gamers? Does this sound like a worthy deal? On the one hand the game got some bleh reviews — our own review included –, but on the other hand $5 is a pretty easy pill to swallow. And some websites did seem to enjoy it. Your call!

[buy from GamersGate, Steam is not actively showing the deal yet]
