Interested in creating your own role playing game? Ok, but what if it wasn’t very hard to make? Enterbrain has released the latest version of its RPG Maker VX software, now available for free download.

The software takes you step-by-step through the process as you select a map to set your world in, party, monsters, items, magic and more. Assign some quests around your world, 15 min. @ 350 degrees, cool for at least five minutes and you’ve cooked yourself your own personal RPG. Go on and make a game so the world can play it.

The file weighs in at 35 MB and can be downloaded via ModDB. From the description:
