Radiangames, the studio of 12-year industry veteran Luke Schneider, will be releasing Radiangames JoyJoy to kick off a long line of XBOX Live Indie Games in the Radiangames series. While there is no word on pricing, details of the twin-stick shooter reveal that it contains a beautiful art style set in motion at 60 FPS, an upbeat soundtrack, and customizable gameplay (we’ll see what this means). Radiangames JoyJoy also contains drop-in drop-out co-op (co-op on LIVE could be great) and six upgradeable weapons, with gameplay modifiers that can be changed at any time during the game.
According to studio head Schneider, the goal of the Radiangames series is “Revitalizing stagnant arcade-action sub-genres with a fluid and satisfying combination of gameplay and style.” Radiangames JoyJoy is set for the release window of spring 2010. The game will also be entered into the Dream.Build.Play 2010 competition. Radiangames also plans to release a new title for the series “every month or so.”
