GLPeas’ ‘BlindGiRl’ Lets You Play Colorblind, Up for DreamBuildPlay 2010

BlindGiRl_17Just a little over a month ago, GLPeas was kind enough to drop me a line and send some exclusive screenshots of BlindGiRl (before their public release), their upcoming XBOX Live Indie Game. At that time, GLPeas provided me with absolutely no information as to what the game was about or how it would be played. Of course, one could easily assume it’s about a girl…who’s blind…but I’m talking about specific game mechanics. Fortunately, GLPeas just launched an official web page for the game which provides quite a bit more info and some very intriguing visuals.

In fact, according to the website, BlindGiRl will allow you to experience the game from the perspective of a color blind person. It supports three types of color blindness: Protanopia, Deuteranopia and Tritanopia. Check out the gameplay video showcasing this feature below.

BlindGiRl is also GLPeas entry into Microsoft’s DreamBuildPlay 2010 competition. By the looks of it, the developers of Carcophony are spending their time on a spectacular upcoming title.
