Delivering Blocks

BlocksI recently got word from Darkwind Media about a new physics-based puzzler they’re working on called Blocks.

Using the Luster 3D engine, the title is all about using a jet-powered platform to move crates to the delivery point. The physics and use of jets reminds me of Bob Came in Pieces, but the levels are short and sweet in this title.

Darkwind Media have released a 25-level demo of the game showcasing its basic idea which already has some polish. The levels already include awards for speed and unlockable progression.

If you want to check out what they have so far, you have to do two things:

1. Download Luster 3D

2. Download Blocks

I dug what I played. The concept is something that might be found in a flash title, but the physics and polish make it worth the download. We’ll be keeping tabs on the game as it progresses.
