Most gamers, specifically indie gamers, probably know about or, at least, have heard of the fantastic running/jumping platforming hybrid Canabalt. For those that haven’t, go play it right now, for free, here. Anyway, apparently the same two guys who made Canabalt, Adam Saltsman and Danny Baranowsky, have remade one of their classic titles with a nice HD spin on it.

Gravity Hook HD is another simple browser game like Canabalt only, instead of running and jumping across large chasms, you are attempting to “grapple” as high as you can. It’s a fun little browser game that can easily divest you of hours if you really get into the mechanics.

The game is available to play right now, with an iPhone/iPod Touch version in the works for the near future.
