WTF?! ‘Curling 2010′ On XBLIG

curling2010About two years ago, I watched the Olympics (don’t even remember which one because I was too busy not caring) with my family and saw a sport that baffled me for two reasons. First, I didn’t know what the hell was going on. Second, I had marveled at the idea I had never seen the sport before and yet it was a part of the Olympics. Luckily for me, my fellow DIYgamers, video games have actually become educational tools in the recent past.

I still don’t know what the hell “curling” is, but maybe dadoo Games’ Curling 2010 will help me out. Last year we saw the release of an incredibly and surprisingly successful College Lacrosse 2010, so maybe dadoo hopes to follow in the footsteps of another [obscure?] sport’s forays into gaming. One thing is for sure though: making a game involving curling fun is going to be an uphill battle if it’s as fun as watching the sport itself. dadoo hopes to take the mystery away from the sport and explain its skill and strategy to the new generation.

For 240 Microsoft Points ($3), it’s just like…”ehh…what the hell, let’s just see.” Here’s the one video I could dig up on it:
