Superstar Games release of Marble Merge last year came at a time when there was an abundance of great iPhone titles. The game’s match-3 mentality was pulled off extremely well in terms of mechanics but the popularity of the studio’s debut seemed to stifle a bit because of its lack of a “lite” app. Chances are unless a gamer is hell-bent on buying an app, they’ll be skeptical with paying for it. In the case of Marble Merge, we have an addictive puzzler for only $0.99. But I guess gamers still have a hard time giving away dollars, hence the invention of the “lite” app.

Superstar Games released Marble Merge Lite this past week as a free download and introduction to the gameplay of the full version. Marble Merge‘s complete package contains the main modes and even a few mini games for you to enjoy. I highly suggest checking it out.
