Indie dev Locomalito has released a demo for its upcoming old school shoot ‘em up Hydorah, now available for download. The simple, polished look will have you in full blown nostalgia-mode in no time.

The title, as the dev describes, is a “game designed to hit straight to the heart of classic shoot em up players, who still love clean designs and challenging adventures.”

The demo is available now through the game’s official site, though no word yet on when we can expect a full release. Give it a try and tell me it’s not faithful to the retro stylings of yore.
