Edmonton’s Fluik Entertainment Inc. announced the release of the second episode of its iPhone/iPod Touch title, Pik’s Revenge, and offered up a free version of the popular title on the App Store. The ambitious indie devs are at the Top 20 spot in the paid role-playing-game category but also 75 in the adventure category. This means the game is officially in the App Store’s “What’s Hot” section. Embracing the success of the game, Fluik has even announced another episode in the Pik’s Revenge saga. The third is expected sometime in February 2010.
In Pik’s Revenge, you control an alien–Pik–who has lost his family, friends, and entire life after your planet is destroyed by a series of explosions. Upon immersing yourself into the beautiful hand-drawn world, you’ll be tasked with several quests and objectives. Join Pik in his story of revenge as the episode two update doubles the amount of content originally included with the game. Pik’s Revenge is available on the App Store for $1.99.
Congratulations to the developer, Fluik, for the success and we hope to hear more from them! Read on for a trailer of the game!

it’s nice to see this game is getting the attention it deserves… rumor has it this game will have 4 episodes total… that’ll be huge for an iphone game.
I loved it, can’t wait to see how the story unfolds.
I went ahead and bought this. Apparently if you buy today you’ll not only get this episode but episode 2 for free as well.
Looks like a great game!
Hey thanks for your comment Brian! I also thought this game was well done. I’m always ecstatic to give attention to indies (iPhone games have a special place in my heart) that deserve it so it’s nice to get some feedback every once in a while. And Geoff, glad this is one of those first iPhone/iPod Touch titles you’re looking into.
Just wanted to put the word out that the new content update otherwise known as Episode 3 has finally been approved and should be available on the store shortly. In response to user feedback via survey we’ve tweaked the pace of the game a bit, hopefully these changes and the new content will be well received!
Hey Vic,
Thanks for the update! If you want we can do a more formal update on the blog.
Ditto on Geoff’s comment, Vic. You’re always welcome here.
