Press Play Release Demo for Max and the Magic Marker

Max & the Magic Marker Back in the early days of December, our own Geoff Gibson got an early look at Max and the Magic Marker, a physics-based 2D platformer that centers around a little boy and the magic marker that lets the player draw “directly inside the game world.”

Now the rest of us can get a taste of the game, even those of us without a Wii. The developers just released the demo, and even though the game will be released on WiiWare in Europe, Australia and New Zealand on Jan. 22, the demo is available to anyone with a browser and the Unity player installed. For us U.S. residents, the demo will have to be enough, because there’s no word on when the game will be released here.

Hit the jump to see an updated trailer, or just go play the demo at maxandthemagicmarker.com.

We are working as hard as we can to get an American release date. Do not worry – it will come before too long :)
