Judges have narrowed the field of 190 student Independent Games Festival submissions down to 10. The winners of its 2010 Student Showcase, the part of the competition that schools and universities can enter, will go on to compete for the Best Student Game prize in March at the 2010 Game Developers Conference. We’ve highlighted Devil’s Tuning Fork, Igneous, Spectre and Ulitsa Dimitrova previously here at DIY Gamer, and more information about the other games can be found on each entry’s IGF site.
New to this year, probably due to the high number of submissions, the judges also chose to highlight another 10 student entrants they felt were deserving of special attention. Find both lists after the jump.
