• Out of the Frying Pan… Radiangames Inferno [Review]

Radiangames continues its beautiful shooter series on Xbox Live Indie Games with the third release in the series, Inferno. We loved the first release JoyJoy, but weren’t too keen on the follow-up Crossfire… so the great news is that Inferno is pretty much a maze-orientated version of JoyJoy.
With some great level design, gorgeous visuals and [...]

  • So We’ve Got This Thing Called a Forum…

So get this, true story, there are these things all around the world wide web (the internets!) that are called forums. • carcophonyDeveloper glpeas, who created an XBLIG title we recently reviewed called Carcophony, has been kind enough to select us as their method of announcement for an awesome in-game capability. When I originally reported that Carcophony was to come to fruition on the XBOX Live Indie Games channel, I made a comment that US gamers would be unsure of how to handle the game. Since the developer was in the UK, the game was to feature left-side drive, meaning the cars were going the opposite direction to how it is in the States.

Well, sure enough, it seems that glpeas has included a secret code to turn the game into right-side drive and they have given us the honor of sharing it with you. Straight from the developers’ mouths, here is how to unlock this ability!

    1. Go to the options screen (where you can change car colours)

    2. Try pressing the 2 bumper buttons together with the X button.

    3. If it works, a letter entry screen should come up. Enter the code: “right4drive”

    4. Enjoy the hell out of it!

I think it’s awesome that glpeas had American gamers in mind and even something as small as this code truly wowed me. Carcophony is available on XBLIG for 400 Microsoft Points ($5). I highly suggest you give it a try as there is a demo available as well!

PS. Indie devs, take note, I think gamers would love to see more stuff like this!
