Pocket God is quite the force to be reckoned with. The game has had 1.7 million downloads to date and is one of the most popular paid apps on the iPhone/iPod Touch. Pocket God puts you in charge of an island with Pygmy inhabitants and lets you, literally, play God. Control their life (and death) by using any of the numerous tools brought forth in the original game–or its (almost) 30 free updates.

While Bolt Creative claims the game took a week to develop, it has quickly climbed up the ranks to become one of the most popular iPhone/iPod Touch titles. There are over 3,500 videos of Pocket God on YouTube with fans creating posters, plush dolls, paintings and more to show their support. Pocket God has also won numerous awards such as:
