Emberwind Launches on PC and Mac Today with Demo

December 7, 2009 | Geoff Gibson

Gremlin_GuardEverybody’s favorite Gnome, Kindle Elderwood, is finally making his debut today in Emberwind, a delightful RPG/platformer hybrid. The game is available through TimeTrap’s own webstore and is currently selling for $12.00. Both versions are available right now as you read this.

For those who still don’t know much about the game, or who want to try before they buy TimeTrap has also made available a free demo that’s available right now.

As many may remember Emberwind was originally featured Emberwind in our “Top 10 Break Out Indie Games of 2010” post which was written before a release date was announced and the game was presumed to have launched in early January. We aren’t complaining though as getting a game sooner rather than later is always a positive.

I’m working fervently on getting our own review posted by tonight so keep an eye out for it. I won’t get into specifics here, but I will say that the game is good… very good. Especially if your a platforming fan.

Gothenburg, Sweden – December 8th, 2009 – Indie game developer TimeTrap today launched Emberwind, an original fantasy platform game as digital download through their web-store.

Emberwind will sell for $12 and is available for both PC and MAC with a free to download, unlimited play demo.

“We’re thrilled to be able to launch Emberwind. It has been a long and taxing journey and everyone involved are very proud of the end result. It is a great game and will bring back many fond memories for people that enjoyed the great platformers of the 80’s and 90’s as well as present a very solid game experience to the younger audience.”
