Prolific Adventure Game Studio designer Ben Chandler (aka Ben304) has finished another short, amusing point-and-click adventure game. It’s called !, and it’s about a robot who has to find the town’s stolen monument.

The basic plot is this: Count Can’t steals the town’s monument, a cardboard exclamation point, in order to add the proper evil weight to his maniacal laugh. Town mayor MC Mista Maya asks !, Robot find out where the count has stashed the monument. So you have to help the robot solve riddles over the six small game panels.

It’s a short game, less than a half an hour. The dialogue has had me laughing out loud, and the puzzles are simple, but clever. I haven’t finished the game yet, but I’m excited because someone is credited with “Robo Rap Sequencing” in the “brought to you by” section of its AGS listing, where you can also find a link to download the free game.
