• Jumping to New Heights… Abduction! 2 [Review]

Before I get into the nitty gritty of this review, allow me to just say a couple things:
First, I’m a huge fan of the original Abduction! World Attack. During a time when Android gaming was largely unpolished and crude, Phil Symonds gave us a game that was not only fun, but also very well presented.
    Second, [...]

  • What Have I Done?… Amnesia: The Dark Descent [Review]

There are games that are fun right away and lose their luster after a few hours. There are games that take time to get into to really enjoy, and then a game comes along like Frictional’s adventure horror Amnesia: The Dark Descent. A title which demands a commitment to the idea of immersion from both the player [...]

  • Onwards and Upwards with Comic Jumper [PAX]

  • ShatteredSunsShattered Suns, a space sim/RTS developed by Clear Crown Studios, is now 25% off on Impulse. The usual 19.99 pricepoint has been slashed down to 14.99. Are you enticed yet?

The game is clearly a traditional space RTS. In fact, some videos online vaguely remind me of Homeworld. That said, however, the game kind of got panned… critically. Personally, I haven’t ever actually played it. This one kinda flew under my radar when it was released. But if this is your sort of thing you can pick it up on the cheap. Just don’t blame me if it’s not as good as Homeworld… seriously.

Anybody plan on taking the plunge?
