  • aaesopsgardenExcalibur Studios’ debut title, Aesop’s Garden, was unveiled on the XBOX Live Indie Games channel on November 17th. The game promises to deliver a retro action-puzzle experience throughout its 50+ levels. Aiding Aesop with his garden, you must pull weeds that have been wrongfully placed by Aesop’s nemesis, Alistair August.

The pixelated title requires that you learn about the elements in Aesop’s world, especially how they interact with one another. By doing so, you will be able to build bridges made of ice or summon hungry rabbits and rid the beautiful garden of those pesky weeds. In addition, you will duke it out with Alistair and his minions on numerous occasions, eventually leading up to a final battle. The first ten levels of the game are available to try for free on XBOX Live, but to purchase the full package it will cost you a mere 240 Microsoft Points ($3).

    Trailer after the break!

For more info on the game, visit its official website.
