Ludicrous Beta Demo Arrives for PC

Ludicrous_demo_released []Marko Ludolph has released a demo for the beta version of his 3D side scrolling shooter Ludicrous. The title is in the process of developing a fully functional multiplayer for its full release, with Ludolph planning a free release as well that grants full gameplay access to LAN and vs bots. Editing tools, online stats and rankings along with the true multiplayer will come with the full version.

Features

  • Easy to master fun gameplay and game mechanics. Play with your friends or find new opponents and make new friendships.
  • Play 1 vs 1 or team vs team. You may also include any number of computer controlled bot players if you wish. (An ingame bot editor is also available.) Play deathmatches or capture the flag missions.
  • Free to play over LAN.
  • High quality 3D visuals (characters and environments) and effects (weapon fire and other).
  • 8 weapons (assault rifle, shotgun, gatling, rail-gun, grenade launcher, rocket launcher, ion-gun, laser-gun).
  • 4 items (health packs, armor packs, jet boots, personal shield).
  • 5 boosts (frenzy, silver bullet, holy shield, instant health, armor boost) and more are planned to be added later.
  • Voice acting.

    I suppose it’s worth mentioning that the demo is only available for the PC platform at this point (unless it is hosted elsewhere?)

    I made the change, I was confused over whether there was a Mac client for the demo, but it must just be for the full version. Sorry for any inconvenience.
