• Out of the Frying Pan… Radiangames Inferno [Review]

Radiangames continues its beautiful shooter series on Xbox Live Indie Games with the third release in the series, Inferno. We loved the first release JoyJoy, but weren’t too keen on the follow-up Crossfire… so the great news is that Inferno is pretty much a maze-orientated version of JoyJoy.
With some great level design, gorgeous visuals and [...]

  • Cause We Got a Great Big Convoy… Reckless Squad [Preview]

Well, mark this down as one of the fastest introductory articles to preview turn arounds ever in DIYgamer.com history. Despite only officially announcing the game’s existence yesterday, I’ve already played a good deal of the press version and now have a gooey, creamy preview waiting for you to gobble it all up. Impressive huh?

  • So We’ve Got This Thing Called a Forum…

So get this, true story, there are these things all around the world wide web (the internets!) that are called forums. • wildhollowNovember 27 is an important day for quite a number of people. Firstly, it is Black Friday, where countless individuals will swarm stores offering discounts. Secondly, it’s my birthday. Sure, that’s not relative, but it’s important to me dammit (and the other 3 people that shared my birthday in my Psychology classes). Thirdly and most relatively, it’s an important day for independent developer Miro Karjalainen (undoubtedly one of the coolest names I’ve read, sounds like he plays guitar in a death metal band) who, under the name KarjaSoft, will be releasing his third title–Wildhollow.

KarjaSoft previously released the “fluffy” arcade game Sheeplings and last year’s puzzle/RPG Spandex Force. With a track record for humorous concepts and games, Karjalainen’s new fantasy adventure title–which promises that same humor and cleverness–will be available on November 27th. Gameplay will feature a mix of colorful dialogue and pet simulation elements, considering you will be cross-breeding and taking care of animals. Filled with quests, mini-games, and a busload of sarcastic fantasy cliches. Be on the lookout for a trial version on the PC and Mac (the platforms for which the game will be released) for download on the same day as its release date.

Read on for an AWESOME trailer.
