Help Design a Zombie Game!

Look, I know zombie games are the “in thing” right now for game developers. To be quite honest, I’m surprised it’s taken the industry this long to catch on to what is obviously such a fun catastrophe scenario. So you may be tired of them with the innumerable amount of them coming out, but perhaps that’s just because you can’t make it just the way you want it. Think about it for second; if you could sit down and hammer out all the littlest details about your dream zombie game do you still contend that it would not be bad-freaking-ass?

Now, for the mere price of $1 you can actually help a studio design the game. Of course if you donate $10 you’ll actually get the game upon release, which seems like the wiser choice considering you’d probably want to play the game you helped design. Right?

The designing process seems pretty easy. You post your ideas on their forums, they launch polls about different design decisions, and you all partake in chat room meetings to hammer out details. It seems like a fairly democratic process which is probably the right way to go about this type of development. Unfortunately, this also means not all of your decisions will make it in game. In fact, if your really unlucky, or just have really bad ideas, then there’s a chance none of them will make it in…

There’s a bright side to all of this however, when all is said and done 25% of the proceeds will be donated to Team Fox, Michael J. Fox’s foundation for curing Parkinson’s Disease. The developer’s are asking for a mere $15,000 for production of which — I think anyways — $3750 will go to Team Fox.
