  • ggjlogoThe International Game Developers Association has revealed that one of its events, the Global Game Jam, will be open for registration starting tomorrow Saturday, November 21. Through the registration process, those interested will be able to secure a spot in the 90+ locations the global event will be taking place on January 29-31, 2010. Last year, there were 1,650 participants across 23 countries and 54 venues.

    The 2010 Global Game Jam is a truly global event and the growth in venues is a great sign of the growing recognition and popularity of GGJ. There are still a limited number of sponsorship opportunities available for companies wishing to participate and have exposure to thousands of game developers and enthusiasts around the world.

    The GGJ entails a two-day period in which developers come together and share ideas to create a fully blossomed game in the 48 hours.
